Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Roles

For signer waiver data, your organization is generally the controller/business and EZDZ Waiver acts as a processor/service provider. For account, billing, and platform operations data, EZDZ Waiver acts as a controller/business as applicable.

This policy applies to website visitors, account users, and data processed through our waiver platform. It does not replace customer-specific notices your organization may provide to signers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect account information, organization profile data, waiver signer data submitted by customers (including signatures and custom fields), audit telemetry (IP addresses, user agents, token view/download events), billing/subscription metadata, integration logs, and contact form submissions.

We may also process template configuration data, webhook endpoint settings, API key metadata (such as prefix, permissions, last-used timestamps), and partner integration identifiers.

3. Sources of Information

Information comes from customer admins, signers, API/integration calls, automated telemetry during service use, and third-party providers such as payment processors and email systems.

If your organization uses partner SSO or integration APIs, we may receive account or identifier data from those partner systems.

4. How We Use Information

We use data to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process billing, deliver waiver workflows, maintain audit records, support integrations, troubleshoot issues, and improve platform performance.

We also use information to detect abuse, enforce platform terms, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Disclosures and Sharing

We may share information with service providers/processors, payment providers, customer configured webhook recipients, and where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, safety, or business transfer events.

When customers enable outbound webhooks or custom SMTP providers, related signer and operational data may be sent to those customer-selected recipients and infrastructure.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies or similar technologies and analytics tooling to understand site usage and improve product experience.

Analytics events may include page usage, product interactions, referral context, and account-level identifiers needed to understand platform adoption and reliability.

7. Data Retention

Core waiver records are generally retained according to customer account lifecycle and customer actions. Operational logs are retained according to platform defaults and business needs, and may be kept longer for legal, security, or compliance reasons.

Job and delivery logs may be retained for finite operational periods. We may retain records needed to resolve disputes, enforce contracts, or satisfy legal obligations.

8. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state law, you may have rights such as access, deletion, correction, and appeal. We do not sell personal information for money. Requests can be submitted to the contact email below.

Where applicable, you may designate an authorized agent. We may take reasonable steps to verify requestor identity and authority before acting on a request.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Security controls are designed to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability, but you remain responsible for credential hygiene, endpoint security, and proper access controls in your own systems.

10. Processor / Service Provider Commitments

For customer signer data, we process information on customer instructions to provide the contracted service. We do not use that data for unrelated profiling or monetization.

11. Children and Minors

Our service is not directed to children. Customers are responsible for managing parent/guardian authorization and minor-related legal requirements in their waiver flows.

12. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates become effective on the posted effective date.
